Lucy is a strong Fire-based Support character that is being featured in the Orphie and Magus banner for Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 2.2 Phase 1. Instead of giving heals, Lucy is much more aggressive at giving Attack buffs to her teammates at fast rates. She can even help with some extra damage with the Boar she handles, while also increasing her team’s Energy and Critical Rates. Here are the best builds for Lucy if you decide to pull her during Version 2.2.

🤔Who is Lucy?
As mentioned prior, Lucy is a Support character who is Fire-based. She can help spread additional Attack buffs across her team, along with some extra damage from her Boar ability. The Boar can be summoned even from the off-field, so it’s always something easy and handy to use whenever available. However, to help have more of an effect, you can increase her Energy and Critical Rate or Damage within her build. As for her downsides, the Boar tends to struggle when it comes to speed. While this isn’t as much of an issue during the early game missions, it can become more prominent later on. As you begin to face enemies with faster movement speeds, the Boar can struggle to keep up and deal as much damage as before. While the speed itself can’t be remedied, Lucy’s buffs still can be increased to keep her Support role strong.

⚙️The Best W-Engines for Lucy in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.2
Since Lucy’s kit revolves around the Attack buffs that she shares with her team, the best W-Engines for her builds include those that increase said buffs. Both Kaboom the Cannon and Reverb – Mark III unlock abilities that add to Lucy’s shareable buffs by giving Attack effects for the team for several seconds. Kaboom the Cannon is especially strong thanks to the stacks the ability warrants. Meanwhile, the Rverb – Mark III’s Booming Sound ability buffs the Special and Ultimate abilities directly in a similar fashion.

🏎️The Best Drive Discs for Lucy in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.2
Besides the Attack buffs, Lucy can use some of her Drive Disc sets to spread Energy Regeneration to the team. This helps with handling longer cooldowns, especially for the main DPS on the field, or fueling Lucy’s Boar ability. Otherwise, the best Drive Discs strengthen Lucy’s existing Attack buffs, along with a few other perks depending on the playstyle you prefer. For example, the Swing Jazz Drive Disc gives some extra Energy Regeneration, along with some Stun boosts for teammates with high movement speeds.

Since Lucy is a Support that primarily buffs her team’s Attack stats, she’s versatile on almost all team builds. However, Lucy can increase the Damage output of certain characters to make them exceptionally powerful. For example, pairing Lucy with Disorder teams like Burnice and Yanagi can have her buff their Attacks with her Special Ability. She also works well in all Fire teams, thanks to her matching element, which could work for some extra Elemental Fire application.
